
Fall is always an exciting time across the West Central District with hundreds of student athletes competing in Cross Country, Volleyball, Football and Golf. This edition of West Central Spotlight features a few examples that highlight the dedication, spirit, and skill of West Central athletes and coaches.

West Central District Championships Highlight Skills and Sportsmanship
The West Central District Golf Championships brought together talented young golfers from for two exciting competitions this September. Senior Golf Districts were held in Rosetown on September 16 with 51 golfers taking part. The Junior Golf Districts followed on September24th, at Saskatchewan Landing. Click here to read more.

Celebrating Football in West Central District
Football is thriving in West Central District, showcasing teamwork, dedication, and community spirit.
In 1A6-A-Side, three teams represented the district: Biggar, Plenty, and LCBI, and the 2A 6-A-Side category featured Eatonia (with Eston, Marengo, and Leader students), Rosetown (with Elrose), and Davidson (with Kenaston and Craik).Rosetown delivered an impressive playoff run by advancing to the quarter finals, winning that matchup, and reaching the semifinals. They capped off their season by hosting the bronze medal game, ultimately falling to Wakaw but earning recognition for their strong performance.
On 4A9-A-Side, Kindersley fielded a team, while athletes from Outlook contributed to the Delisle roster. Junior West Central students also competed in the North West Minor Football League with the Eatonia team that included students from Marengo, Eston, and Leader winning the North West Championship.
From spirited competition to community collaboration, football in West Central continues to unite towns and inspire young athletes. Congratulations to all teams, coaches, and supporters for an outstanding season!

LCBI Hosts Provincials
Congratulations to the Lutheran Collegiate Bible Institute Senior Boys Volleyball Team that hosted the Provincial 2A Championships and made it to the quarter-final! LCBI fans came out in force to support their team!
Davidson Takes Bronze
Congratulations to the Davidson School Senior Girls Volleyball Team who won the Bronze Medal in the 2A Provincial Championships and once again won the Cannes Classic as well as a number of other
invitational tournaments.
