Every two years, Sun West stages the ROADS TO SUCCESS Career Fair that brings all of Sun West's Grades 10 and 11 students to Rosetown where they visit displayers and see presentations from postsecondary institutions and potential employers from all over Western Canada. The video above features highlights from the most recent Career Fair on May 8, 2024.
At Sun West, we believe the journey to graduation—and beyond—starts the moment a child enters our school system. From Pre-K through Grade 12, every step is designed to build toward a successful future, with career development being an integral part of student learning.
As young people prepare for life after high school, they face many important decisions. Sun West encourages students to begin exploring career possibilities early so they can assess their interests, discover opportunities, build skills, and identify paths that will bring them fulfillment. This process is supported by our Career Development Teachers through our Career Development program. It involves strong partnerships among schools, families, and communities - all working together to help students navigate their road to success.
