The Coordinator of Mental Health and Well-being plays a vital role in supporting students and educators across the Sun West School Division. This position is dedicated to promoting positive mental health, emotional resilience, and overall well-being within schools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging presentations and workshops that address a wide range of mental health and wellness topics.
- Collaborate with teachers and school counsellors to create customized sessions that meet the unique needs of individual classrooms.
- Ensure all presentations align with Saskatchewan Health Curriculum outcomes for the appropriate grade levels.
- Provide resources and strategies to help students build healthy relationships, manage emotions, and develop life skills.

Topics may include friendship, personal boundaries, sharing, and understanding the difference between telling and tattling.
Customized Support
Teachers and counsellors can request tailored presentations or workshops to address specific classroom needs. The Coordinator works closely with educators to ensure sessions are relevant, practical, and impactful.
