On October 22, 2025, Creator Olympics brought together 39 students from 11 Sun West schools to LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION! This was a one day event that featured two morning workshops. One was for students interested in acting and performance and the other for students interested in digital storytelling. The acting and performance workshop was provided by Michael Koops, a Consultant with the Saskatchewan Drama Association. The digital storytelling session was provided by Layla Bautista, an Instructor with the Motion Picture Arts Diploma program with the Recording Arts Institute of Saskatoon and the owner of Bokeh Media, a Saskatoon-based multi-media company.
In the afternoon, the students were divided into groups with digital storytellers and actors in each group combining their efforts to produce short videos that allowed them to practice the techniques they had learned in the morning sessions. It was a fruitful day with ten videos being produced (The introduction to each video mistakenly says nine but there are total of ten videos). These can be viewed below:
