
The West Central District Golf Championships brought together talented young golfers from across the region for two exciting competitions this September.
The Senior Golf Districts were held in Rosetown on Tuesday, September 16th, with 51 golfers taking on the well-prepared Rosetown Golf Club course under hot and sunny skies. The top four male and female golfers advanced to Provincials at Kenosee Lake on September 26–27.

At Provincials, West Central golfers represented the district with pride. Claire Kosolofski of Kindersley placed an impressive 6th out of approximately 45 competitors, shooting 179 over two rounds. Ethan King of Outlook also put together a solid performance against a strong field of male golfers. Congratulations to all athletes, coaches, and parents for a great showing. The Junior Golf Districts followed on Wednesday, September24th, at Saskatchewan Landing. Despite the strong winds, players enjoyed a well-groomed course, sunshine, and great company.
