Big news from Marengo! Westcliffe Composite School is celebrating a major win for its students and community! Thanks to successful grant applications, the school now has $50,000 dedicated to improving its playground!
Back in the summer of 2024, the school received a generous $25,000 grant from Canadian Natural Resources to support new playground equipment. Rather than rushing to spend it, the School Community Council made a strategic decision to wait, anticipating a potential government grant promised during the2024 election campaign. That foresight paid off!
This fall, when the provincial playground grant applications opened, the school sprang into action. With determination and attention to detail, the application was submitted the school recently received confirmation of a $25,000 grant from the Government of Saskatchewan!
