A priority for Sun West is providing students with real life experience that will help them prepare for their careers. Career Work Experience (CWEX) work placements are a big part of this priority and every year hundreds of businesses and other agencies provide Sun West students with CWEX work placements. Businesses and agencies in and around Davidson, Loreburn, Kenaston, and Elbow are always supportive and this year 11 different ones provided work placements for students from Loreburn Central School. By welcoming students into their workplaces, sharing their time, expertise, and mentorship, they provided invaluable real-world learning opportunities that cannot be replicated in the classroom. These experiences help students build confidence, develop employability skills, and explore potential career paths as they plan for their futures. Their support plays a vital role in student success, and Sun West is truly grateful for their continued partnership and commitment to Sun West students.
