Sun West Athletes Make a Mark at Provincial Track

The Saskatchewan High School Athletic Association (SHSAA) held Provincial Track and Field Championships at Gutherridge Field in Moose Jaw on June 6-7, 2025.  

Athletes from Sun West schools acquitted themselves very well during Provincial Track with many athletes finishing in the top ten in their events and/or achieving their personal bests. Over 100 Sun West athletes participated in Provincial Track from the following Sun West schools: Dinsmore Composite, Kyle Composite, Elrose Composite, Davidson, Westcliffe Composite in Marengo, Biggar Central School 2000, Rosetown Central High, Eaton in Eatonia, Outlook High, North West Central in Plenty, Kenaston, Lucky Lake, Loreburn Central, Kindersley Composite, and Beechy Schools.

Congratulations to all Sun West Provincial Track athletes for their great efforts and achievements.

Eight Sun West athletes earned ten medals and made appearances on the podium during the Provincial Track Championships. This included Reise Dolan of Outlook High School who won the Gold medal in Senior Boys Discus.
