
Brent Larwood has been selected as a new Vice-Principal of Outlook High School (OHS), bringing more than 15 years of experience in secondary education and leadership within the school community. Mr. Larwood will become the second Vice-Principal at Outlook High School, a position that will be helpful with the increased enrolment and number of grade levels at OHS with the addition of the Grade 5 students next school year.
“Brent’s combination of instructional expertise, professional development leadership, and commitment to student success positions him well for his new administrative role,” explained Sun West Director of Education Darryl Seguin.
A long-serving teacher at Outlook High School since 2008, Mr. Larwood has taught Physical Education, Health, Biology, and Science, developing a strong reputation for student-centered instruction and interdisciplinary learning.
Mr. Larwood holds a Masters degree in Educational Technology and Design, a Bachelor of Education (Biology), and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Saskatchewan. His professional background also includes work as a facilitator with the Saskatchewan Professional Development Unit, where he designed and delivered workshops in science, outdoor education, and accreditation. In addition, he has demonstrated leadership beyond the classroom as President of the Saskatchewan Snowboard Association.
“I am looking forward on taking more of a leadership role at OHS,” stated Mr. Larwood. “Since starting my teaching career at OHS 18 years ago, I have really loved working here as education has evolved! I am super excited to help with the upcoming transition of the grade 5's becoming part of the OHS community in the 2026-27 school year,” he concluded.
