The curtain rose at the Biggar Majestic Theatre, and magic unfolded as The Music Man came to life. Directed by Springfield Colony School Principal Tanya Lehnert, St. Gabriel School in Biggar Teacher Graham Lehnert, and Biggar Central School 2000 (BDCS2000) alum and current Education student Kaitlyn Fecht, this production showcased the incredible talent and dedication of students from across the region. The production stared Rosetown Central High School students Iain St. John and provincial vocal competitor Isabelle Sparks, who led a cast and crew that included Grades 5-12 students from BCS2000 and St. Gabriel School.

More than just entertainment, this production is a shining example of community engagement mentoring students in vocal production, choreography, stage management, dance, and drama. Supported wholeheartedly by the Biggar community and schools, the production proves what happens when schools and communities unite to inspire creativity.

Congratulations to the entire cast and crew for an unforgettable show and for demonstrating the power of collaboration and passion in education.
