The Sun West Human Resources Department develops and executes policies and practices to facilitate the recruitment and retention of Sun employees including overseeing such areas as payroll, labour relations, personnel issues and employee benefits.

The Sun West School Division employs teachers, educational assistants, maintenance personnel, bus drivers, secretaries, librarians, several different types of student service personnel as well as finance, human resources, transportation, facilities, information technology and communications professionals. At Sun West, over 800 employees work as a team to deliver programs and services that benefit over 5000 K-12 students in 42 schools.
