Eaton School Christmas Concert Enjoyed by All

Eaton School held its annual Christmas Concert on Thursday, December 14, and once again this event was well received by the entire community.

The gym was packed on Thursday evening as families and friends gathered to enjoy our students' performances. The Concert Band worked very hard in the days leading up to the Christmas concert to perfect their pieces. The audience had the pleasure of listening to a Christmas Carol favorite, "Let It Snow", followed by "Song For Peace" and "The Nutcracker Suite". They also performed two powerful pieces, "Juno Beach" and "Air For Band".

Santa surely heard the sweet singing of "Jingle Bells" and "All I Want for Christmas" by the Kindergarten class. The Grade 1/2 class's "Reindeer Pokey" was a highlight of the evening. What a beautiful rendition of "Jolly Old St Nicholas" by the talented Grade 3/4 who played a variety of bells and percussion instruments. The Grade 5 and Grade 6 Bands continued the tradition with several well-known carols like "Jingle Bells", "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas", "O Come Little Children" to get everyone in the holiday spirit.

The evening ended on a high note when the K-4 Choir entertained all with "Old Toy Trains" and a lively and fun song, "Mistletoe", followed by "Santa Claus Is coming to Town" accompanied by the Concert Band. We enjoyed sharing our talents and the spirit of the season with our families and community. We are so very proud of our musically talented Spartans! Merry Christmas to all!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support this great event.
