DON'T PLAGIARIZE
Plagiarism is taking the work or ideas of another person and
offering them as one's own either intentionally or by failing to give credit to
the original author or creator.
Plagiarism may take many forms, including the
following:
- Copying directly from a source without acknowledging that source
by quotation marks and appropriate references
- Paraphrasing someone else's ideas in your own words without
acknowledging the source by appropriate reference
- Submitting as your own work a paper or portion of a paper
conceived jointly with other students but not giving credit for other's
contribution
- Copying or paragphrasing the work of another student
- Allowing one's essay, assignment or test to be copied by another
student
