NEW! View the Davidson School Profile (2008-09) (Word document)

The Staff of Davidson School wish everyone a wonderful summer.
It was another memorable school year, and we look forward to seeing both new and familiar faces on August 31!

Davidson School welcomes students from the former Davidson High School and Davidson Elementary School as well as new students to the community for the 2008-2009 school year.

The upcoming school year is one to look forward to as it will be our first year together as a K-12 school.  There will be some changes as can be expected when two schools merge into one, but it is my hope that we will take all the great things about each organization and combine them into an even better place for the students of Davidson!

This year we will be having a new position on staff, that of Vice Principal.  I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Jason Low and know that he will enjoy working closely with Davidson students and their families.

We are fortunate to have a dedicated school staff, strong SCC members and fantastic students and parents to help with the transition to one school.  In May 2008, we conducted a survey of student, staff and community stakeholders to help us with school improvement planning.  Participants identified what things we do well, what we could do better and gave us ideas for future directions the school can plan for in the future.

A school is only as good as the people within, so let’s work together to help make our school a great place to be!

Shari Martin

- Hello students of Davidson School!  I'm very excited to be returning back to Davidson and even more excited about joining the Sea of Blue and becoming a Raider once again.  Some of you probably don't really know who I am, so I thought I would remind you.  I am: a great listener, easy-going, a notorious practical joker, and the cherry-picking sniper king of floor hockey, just to name a few.  The rest you will have to find out by coming to meet me.  I am very excited to get to know all of you, so when you see me in the hall, stop me and introduce yourself!

This is going to be a great year filled with experiences of every kind.  It is important that we stay positive and keep an open mind.  Let's work together and make Davidson School the best school it can be!

Have a great year!

Jason Low
