D'Arcy School

D’Arcy School is a small school located half way between Rosetown and Kindersley. We have 34 students in Kindergarten to Grade 6. We are pleased to be able to provide a quality education as well as many extra-curricular events. The students have access to smart boards in every classroom. We also have a set of laptops that are shared by the 3 classrooms. We are making improvements to the playground to encourage the students to be active and healthy. The students are able to participate in activities such as sport tournaments, clubs, and We Day which supports Free the Children. We have many annual events such as a soccer tournament, concerts, Literature Day, and Field trips. Because of our small size the students know each other. The teachers are able to provide more one-to-one time. We also have a well-stocked library to encourage a love of reading. Our SCC is very involved and has been busy planning the 100th birthday celebration of D’Arcy School. We feel it is “A Great Place to Learn”.

  • Board members are elected to serve three-year terms and represent six rural sub-divisions, two urban sub-divisions (the towns of Outlook and Rosetown)
