Technology keeping Eston students connected and learning

Even as COVID 19 continues to keep everyone at home, students at Eston Composite School have found a variety of ways to stay connected and continue learning. (Left to right) Kindergarten student Casey uses a laptop to connect with his classmates. Grade one student Jett enjoys being read to in real time by his teacher Mrs. Day. Grade four student Maggie provides a spooky reading video as part of her teacher’s Easter reading challenge. Grade two student Robert (centre) reads from a book he wrote himself. The book was about too many mice on a farm and Robert’s teacher, Mrs. Trytten, told him that he could capture mice at her farm any day!

Maggie’s and Robert’s videos can be viewed on the Eston Composite School Facebook page and on the Sun West School Division Instagram page.
